Before we begin, you need a USB-Flash-Drive with min. 16 GB, a valid Windows License Key (which in most cases is alredy on your PC or Notebook so it will be transferred) and Backup all of your important Files, note that Programms cannot be transferred. Also make sure if you have the Home or Pro Version. Then you download Rufus from https://rufus.ie/en/, you can decide which Version you want to pick Standard or Portable, in this case i will take the Portable. You need this Software to create the Windows USB-Stick . Here you download the newest Version for you which changes over Time.
Now you have to go to he official Microsoft Website to download Windows https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download and select the Version you want to install as of 03/24 the newest Version is Windows 11, Windows 10 is also available and will be supported until 10/14/25 / 14.10.25. All other Versions are no longer supported. Please note that Windows 11 has certain hardware requirements, check beforehand if these are met. In the following link is the English requirement list https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications. These requirements can also be bypassed, i will tell you more later on.
